A dreamy black and white photo shows a person sitting in a misty field at dusk with sunlight creating a soft ethereal glow.
an observer of quiet things

I am a photographer drawn to quiet places and small moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Much of my work centers on observing the relationship between land, memory, and family life. I often return to the same places over time (orchards, shorelines, fields) photographing slowly and paying attention to the subtle changes that unfold through the seasons.

Alongside these photographs, I keep field notes: small written reflections on what I see, hear, and feel while moving through these landscapes. Together, the images and writing form an ongoing journal of place and time.

I am especially interested in the ways people inhabit the natural world and how our lives intertwine with the land around us.

I live and work in Central Florida with my husband and daughter.

Occasionally, I accept a small number of collaborative portrait commissions with families who connect with this approach.
